Prayer April ---- EASTER

In our pluralistic society we can pluck our own choice of gods or fashion our own faith to suit our own ideologies, but this in no way negates the true meaning of EASTER .It is the celebration of the death & resurrection of JESUS CHRIST. Jesus virgin birth, his death and resurrection are the basis and foundation of the Christian faith.

Jesus was crucified, died and was buried on GOOD FRIDAY. HE rose from the dead on Easter Sunday. Easter is celebrating Jesus victory over death and mankind’s hope of eternal life. In John chapter 3 verse 16 it says ,” for God so loved the world that HE gave HIS only son; THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM should not perish , but have everlasting life .” How marvellous is GOD’S mercy and grace.

Identifying with CHRIST means putting to death our ego, pride, greed and our selfish ways and rising victorious to love, hope and eternal life. It means connecting with GOD the source of life and the Creator of the Universe. It signifies that risen Christ is our Saviour, our Counsellor, our Victory, our refuge and our Strength. Our faith and trust in Him and His teaching is enough to carry us through our earthly journey (Jesus is our GPS) and take us safely to our destination.

                                                            PRAYER
Thank You Heavenly Father for creating mankind in your own image and crowning us with Glory and Honour. Thank You for JESUS who gives us victory over death. Thank You for Your loving kindness & bless us as we celebrate EASTER. Amen.
