About S Chandra

As a professional civil celebrant I have conducted a number of personalized ceremonies with couples of different ethnic backgrounds. I am multilingual, mature, and understanding. I am widely experienced in multicultural celebrations, events, functions.

As an experienced celebrant, I am well versed with different traditions and customs, and am aware and sensitive to different cultural backgrounds.

Before I became a civil celebrant, I ran my own business back in Fiji and in Melbourne ,Australia. I am happily married with a wife and family.

I enjoy working with people and am currently engaged in giving motivational talks to students in schools and youth organizations.

Being a businessman I have vast experience in event organization, taking care of detail, keeping an eye on the budget and have wonderful people’s skill.

I am a peoples person , have a great sense of humour, and being married for 40 years ( got married very young ) understand the importance of  marriage, family and celebration.

It is my belief that ceremonies and celebrations are an important part of our families, social and community lives. It provides a link with our past, brightens our present and creates a memory for future.
